The terrorists thought they were maximizing the impact by doing this during the G8 summit, but in fact, that was a stupid idea.

The photo of Blair standing in front of Bush and Chirac, and the other leaders was a pretty defiant scene.

"The photo of Blair standing in front of Bush and Chirac, and the other leaders was a pretty defiant scene."

I remember President Bush after 9/11, and people knew right away that he was going to start kicking EVERYONES ass with statements like: Dead or alive, we hunt them down in their caves, we will bring justice to them, and (standing over the WTC) I hear you and pretty soon they will hear all of us. We knew the terrorist were going to pay dearly. I didn't get that same message from Tony Blair. He seem afraid. His voice was weak. I hope I'm wrong.

On May 23, 2005 in london, a group of muslims said that British blood was going to run in the streets. They chanted "death to Tony Blair, death to President Bush, Nuke DC". They were a large group standing in the street promising to kill Brits, and this was allowed. They kept their promise.

Look it up May 23, 2005 - London. They said it... they did it!
