McCabe said there must be some fact or evidence indicating a criminal act caused the death to open a full homicide investigation in his office.

Furman just said that he thought that Michael Shiavo had such a bad temper that he would crack under questioning and tell what happened. He pointed out lots of discrepancies in his testimony. Looks like the prosecutor waited til Furman's book came out and then decided to pass.

That's McCabe providing a statement under official seal to butress the murderer Micheal's position with regard to any future litigtaion for fraud in the malpractise suit. It may well speak to a conspiracy to bottle-up any follow-on legal proceedings in the murder of Terri Schindler-Schiavo.
