He does ride hard - he's fallen before. But don't you think the crash with the Scot was his fault? The reports wouldn't say who was the culprit.
And isn't that a contrast with his opponent in the last election who insisted that his SS escort ran into him on the ski slopes? :-)

BTW, I did like that he sent his WH doctor to the hospital with the Scottish guard to make sure that the guard got whatever he needed. Not that Scots medical care is insufficient, but that he was concerned.

Even if the bike accident wasn't W's fault, I sincerely believe he'd still take the blame (and of course be very concerned about the officer regardless). That is the difference between W and Kerry, in a nutshell.

I heard the pavement was slick, that the bike slid out from under him.

I imagine that the bike and he went sideways, falling onto the Scot policeman at his side.

No one's fault.
