Interesting - I had always assumed that France has been spared any Al Qaeda attacks because its government has consistently rolled over to Islamists, supported the Palestinians' efforts to eradicate Israel, and supported Saddam Hussein. It had never occurred to be that France has more effective laws and law enforcement than the U.S. and the U.K., which keep the terrorists from being able to operate there.
I think you will see a backlash, and a crack down on Moslem immigrants.
