The Moslems might be a bit concerned. I remember when some of the UK newpapers started publishing sex offender names and addresses, I think back around 2000. Some Brits showed up at the bad guys homes and harassed them until they moved. This visceral reaction by the "common folk" was not expected since the Brits see so reserved.

Odds are there will be some bloody backlash against those that pray to the black rock of mecca. The Brits are not dumb or cowardly and they won't sit back and let people walk all over them. This was a stupid move by the Moslems since a lot of what happened today will be caught on video. Instead of making the Brits cower like the Spanish I predict the opposite.

They should be concerned and actively working toward distancing themselves from the Islamofascist Alqaeda they tacitly support because they fail to condemn them. He's just baiting the public and whipping up fervor lest some in the Muslim community lose their love of the AQ. I doubt they're will be any reprisals, not from the Londoners. In this area a Sikh temple was firebombed (turban wearing dark people, you know....) and someone drove their car through the front doors of the areas largest mosque.

So I guess staying indoors didn't help them then.

They are still working on their finely modulated response that expresses just the right degree of obviously feigned concern for the victims, emphasizes that the bombers were acting out of a deep concern for social justice, and manages to piss on the graves of the dead of 9/11 without being too obvious about it.
