I must say it bothers me that Al Qaeda was able to plan and conduct the attacks. Why did NO ONE have a clue that this kind of thing is to be expected when there's a summit of global leaders going on anywhere?

Unfortunately, the "clues" had been the Brits giving Al Qaeda and various Islamofascists groups carte blanche to openly assemble, organize, and spout their venomous hatred of the West in public with impunity.

Will all that now change?

Even if a high-profile summit of global leaders was a red meat cue for Al Qaeda to wreak havoc for maximum PR effect, was it really all that surprising to discover they conducted such attacks with alarming ease?

The only solution -- and damn "civil libereties" groups -- is to root out ALL known Al Qaeda organizations and members and deport them immediately -- whether it's Britain or the US.
