Just checked Ananova.com, a good source of news on Britain, and they are reporting the cause as some sort of interference with the power source: "British Transport Police said power surge incidents, some of which have caused explosions, have occurred on the London Underground at Aldgate, Edgware Road, King's Cross, Old Street and Russell Square."

Prayers for the British people. Any attempts to demoralize them can only end in failure.
