I agree Txsleuth, but sometimes you just need ONE of them to put the country and their constituents ahead of their ambition.
The rest of the lengthy e-mail was a rehash of what I had written to him. It just annoyed me more than I can say.
Bearing in mind of course that Senator Allen most likely did not see your e-mail or letter himself of course.
I know---and I would fire off an e-mail, telling him so, in no uncertain words...I would spell it out..
I am tired of being intimidated by people that use political speak...
I like George Allen, but what this country NEEDS is a POSTUS that will be a kick-a$$ COMMANDER IN CHIEF...
Not someone who is used to compromising and capitulating to the "other side" to get a vote or two.
