I was listening to Rick & Bubba, a radio show out of Birmingham, Alabama, syndicated throughout the southeast, the morning of the 911 attacks. It took them about 5 minutes to mention OBL. At the time I barely knew who he was. When they replayed the show for the one year anniversary, I was astounded at how they called it correctly long before the MSM.
One thing I'll never forget, because I found it so prescient yet eerie right after 9/11, was the radio show that John Batchelor did just previous Saturday evening (Sept.8)-- it was one month before the Cole anniversary, and they did the entire show on OBL and the threat he still posed. Still gives me chills to recall that show.
