I'm no Shep fan but put it in context. He asked John McCain in a question. He used that old journalism trick "some people say the war in Iraq is creating terrorism". BTW, McCain shot down this theory.

Yes, McCain nixed that thought, nevertheless Shep did try to sneak it in, which is exactly what the Rats would say, only they would say it in an accusatory tone.
