Tactically, this is a brilliantly conceived operation...a few suicide bombers..scattered small explosions, on the transportation system, and the entire metro area, if not the whole country ..is paralyzed..and will be so for a few days at least...To plan this takes people who have lived in the area a long time..who understand how the city works..these will turn out, IMHO to have been longtime residents

I was thinking the same thing. Also that the long delay between 9/11, Madrid, and now this... reminds me of a border collie herding sheep.... minimal movement for maximum effect.
