Hmmmm, I looked at your map and compared it to the old one I saved from 1989, when I came over to help marry off a cousin......I wonder why they didn't go after any of the southern and western connecting stations, like the Embankment/Charing Cross and Victoria Station? South Kensington or Gloucester Road would have been likewise odious, involving numbers of Underground routes. They've left everyone living in the West End and across the river free to go home, if the authorities will reopen those routes to the west -- the Central and Victoria lines look mostly unmolested. And they left the Jubilee and Bakerloo lines completely alone.
Not to give anyone ideas, but it looks like most people will be home at the usual hour, if they just leave a little early -- unless the Metro people keep the trains completely shut down, looking for more bombs.
I'm concerned that those southern stations may need to be investigated. Shutting down the Tube was a sensible precaution.
