FWIW...my husband has a CPAP and they told him vinegar should work the best. He uses it fairly regularly and it seems to be working.

That is the best. I use a little liquid Ivory and
mild warm water on my CPAP and after rinsing I put
a small amount of vinegar in water let in soak a few mins
and rinse.
I had not thought of that. Vinegar seems to be the answer to many problems. I will give it a try. Thanks!
