Oppositionist New Conservatives, Conservators, and the Republicans have appealed to the international community regarding, as they say, the authorities' pressure on the media.

The main accent was made on the TV company Mze's prime-time talk show "On the verge of choice", which is going to be closed on Friday.

The MPs are calling on the international organizations and the public to defend freedom of expression.

Well, what did we really expect from a Soros revolution? Freedom? Saakashvili even admitted that all of last year he and his crew drew salaries from the Open Society.

What opposition? I thought Sakaashvili was a dictator!

This must be Bush's fault.

Conservative Party objects to amendments to Election Code

Leaders of the Conservative Party of Georgia, Koba Davitashvili, and Zviad Dzidziguri have objected to the amendments to the Election Code, which the parliamentary majority plans to discuss at plenary session on Friday.

Davitashvili claimed at the news conference today that the majority tried to amend the Election Code without hearing what opposition thought of it.

"Government wants to discuss the amendments to the Election Code hurriedly, to avoid interference and remarks of international organizations, which have already expressed their interest in this regard. They know that these organizations will have serious remarks. That's why they are trying to confirm the changes as soon as possible," Davitashvili said, calling upon all opposition factions to oppose to the government's intention with joint forces.

Conservative Party leaders said Saakashvili's government was becoming like Lukashenko's one, alleging they were trying to establish one-party governance

With a 93% majority rule in parliment, Saakashvili is all but a dictator. He has more control over parliment then Putin (by over 20%) whom you constantly call a dictator. Furthermore, Saakashvili has given himself the right to dismiss judges at will. Hmmmm another Soros candidate, you support.

I don't call Putin a dictator. I call him a weasel. At least Sakaashvili stands with America. Putin stands with Red China and Pink France against America.
