Per Fox News...
long again = long ago
I was thinking Colin Powell at first, but then I couldn't even imagine him talking about Wilson and yellow cake. Plus the Fox reporter said that the prosecutor wants to know about other subjects that the source talked with reporters about.
She was accused of being too cozy with Chalabi and of 'running the show' with the unit she was embedded with.
Judge Napolitano: "This is an assault on the freedom of the press".
I'm watching CNN to see how they spin it. I can't stand Shep.
The judge is going off the deep end lately.
Colin Powell is one of the most self-serving back biters in D.C., and he's the source of a LOT of information on the Bush administration, if you ask me.
What about the other independent council report that is due this month? (The one the Dems tried to block by legislation.) Any word?
Interesting twist...thanks.
IF it is Powell .. my guess he is concerned
But Cooper is a Wimp and not will to go to jail for Powell or anyone else and told the leaker this
Miller's lawyer on CNN
I agree...You're right, it could be Powell. Where has he been lately? Any recent comments from Powell on this situation?
When all the info comes out .. I think the Good Judge will be singing a different tune
Which one is that?
No, your honor, this is about an attempted coup d'etat by media. They don't get a get-outta-jail-free card for those.
Alter is on MSNBC - what a creeep
Of course! because the source knows that if there is no indictment, then the grand jury testimony is sealed and he is safe. It's a gamble he's willing to take (but what happened for him to make the gamble TODAY?)
Miller was live in Iraq shortly after the war started and said it was obvious that regardless of the inability to find WMD, the buildings and infrastructure proved that Saddam was committed to obtaining WMD.
She also wrote a book with Laurie Mylroie in the 80's about Saddam that was damning about the regime.
She was a steadfast supporter of the war in Iraq, at least in 2003.
Knowledgeable insiders have long characterized Powells meteoric rise from colonel to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as based on exceptional skills at bureaucratic infighting and deft wielding of the press leak stiletto. But the general public sees only the picture of high-minded public servant. In the wake of the disclosure that he is attempting to use his wiles to torpedo the nomination of John Bolton as the US Ambassador to the United Nations, it is high time to break out the kryptonite and honestly appraise the record and actions of Colin Powell.
