When he was running for president, President Bush said that he would use Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas, the two most aggressively and ideologically extreme activist justices on the Supreme Court, as his models for future appointees.

If this is true, we should be reminding the White House about it daily. Gonzales is no Scalia.
