Rep. Katherine Harris wants to run for the Senate seat in 2006. The Republican establishment isn't backing her, and is backing Senator Nelson. Senator Nelson was one of the Constitutional option wafflers (but not one of the "sell-outs"), if I remember correctly, and was pressued by the left.

Kathleen Harris would be a good governor in Florida some day, too.

She'll probably be defeated in the primaries without the GOP backing. She showed such courage for the GOP in 2000, and is this how they pay her back?

Anyone interested can read about it here:

The GOP doesn't want strong women in their ranks - I think it's a guy thing. Katherine Harris is brighter than them and that's my opinion based upon dealings with Bill Nelson who is just a policy wonk - was for living wills but that wasn't the point was it?

LOL! Read the article again. Senator Nelson, the incumbent, is a Democrat. No one in the "Republican establishment" is backing him. What the "Republican establishment" is trying to do is to find a republican candidate to challenge him for the U.S. Senate who has a better chance of success among Florida voters than Katherine Harris.

Terri will NOT be forgotten nor will her legacy. Jim King's legacy can go fly a kite. He's so into the culture of death. Florida is the Starvation State now.

Wait until Jeb goes back to South Florida. The Cuban community is hacked off that Jeb let Terri die. And, there's that little boy Elian - Jeb washed his hands then too.

Well, at least Jeb has clean hands because he's always washing them.

TEJ does it again. This is about Michael's job application for Sheriff. It's funny how poor his memory is but he knew for certain that Terri wanted to be tortured and killed.

Florida local color: Discovery Launch - There were too many little clouds this morning to see Discovery blast off. I saw the rocket booster fall off on tv when the Discovery was 59 miles up.

From Drudge:

I hope that debris blew well away from Discovery.
