Several bloggers have drawn attention to a strange lead in a Washington Post story about the Terri Schiavo autopsy results. The June 16 Post story by David Brown said that "Terri Schiavo died of the effects of a profound and prolonged lack of oxygen to her brain on a day in 1990, but what caused that event isn't known and may never be, the physician who performed her autopsy said
"

You can try and muddy the waters all you like. There is NOTHING that clears Schiavo of any wrong doing, accidental or otherwise.
There's nothing to say _____________(fill in the blank) did not play a role in her collapse. Do you hear what you're saying? Guilty until proven innocent? Why not find every citizen of Florida in 1990 that is still alive and arrest them too? Can't be too sure it wasn't one of them...
Your point is?
It would seem the autopsy rules out natural physical causes so that only leaves unnatural causes.
There was one person that night with Terri who had the means, motive and opportunity to cause her harm.
Statistically, we know that the odds are in favor of Michael causing Terri harm that night and that's without factoring in means, motive and opportunity.
Suspiscious. The police use the term all the time. He was the only other person there. I suggest you read Fuhrmans book. I'm sure the library has it.
Of course facts matter. What really matters is where you are getting those "facts" from. For instance, when looking for info on the war in Iraq, do you read birdcage liner, lamestream media, or come here?
I read the autopsy report several times. She wasn't blind when she was videotaped, nor was she blind when the family priest was allowed, ALLOWED, to pray with Terri. She wasn't blind when a new lawyer visited her before she was killed. She recognized a new face, liked that face, and proceeded to flirt with him. It's all here, look it up. I will concede that she could have fit the definition of "legally blind". She and the judge, who condemned her to death, have something in common.
I get my facts right. They just aren't the ones you are comfortable with.
Only one person had those.
AND, I believe Fuhrman states he was never questioned by the police.
No. You're trying to insult. Not all abuse leaves broken bones.
All of this together raises red flags.
It is to the posters who were discussing it. Thanks for interrupting.
You obviously have never had a sociopath in your life. I have, and reply from a different perspective than others.
Your personal history excludes you from being able to come to rational conclusions. You judgment is tainted.
NEVER FORGET!
In reasonable people, it does.
Like self abuse?
The ME did not rule out bulimia as cause of her collapse...he just stated that after 15 years there was no evidence to give any cause for her collapse...although there were also no signs of any abuse directed against her by MS or anyone else.
Lots of talk about ACTIVIST judges these days.
Judge Greer was an ACTIVIST judge who had an unwillingness to look at the facts.
Can't let go of "blame Terri"? Even Schiavo had to let go of that excuse.
Michael Schiavo, 1/2000 Direct Testimony: states bulemia was never proved see p 27. (large file)
An unexplained collapse and he's the only other person there. There's nothing that clears him of suspicion either.
Why do we have to presume that a person whats to die unless they prove otherwise by a legal document now? That is not only violating my rights as a citizen of this fine US, it is also a moral judgment on the worth of my life as an individual.
We have always erred on the side of life..why change it now? I am telling you this is the first step toward State sanctioned assisted suicide/euthanasia....making removal of the presumption of life politically correct.
A living will will not protect you if it is as vague as most I have seen. A slick lawyer can tear into those useless documents like the are toilet paper in most cases. Not to mention the advances in medical technology that will make most living wills being created right now obsolete in the future.
...but then again, we must remember, Terri's "test" case was not even based on a living will document was it?....so now we have moved the political climate one step forward down the slippery slope.
