The June 16 Post story by David Brown said that "Terri Schiavo died of the effects of a profound and prolonged lack of oxygen to her brain on a day in 1990, but what caused that event isn't known and may never be, the physician who performed her autopsy said

The tragedy of her collapsing at the hands of the man who petitioned the court to put her to death? Please do not address me again...I do not correspond with outright liars if I can avoid it.
Or produce admissable evidence.

You sounds like someone who doesn't know the definition of IS or can spin it to mean whatever you want. Go away troll! LOL!
I guess some people really can't cope with challenges to their worldview.

See my reply to another poster above. It was hearsay. On points of law, I'm inclined to believe Dershowitz over you.

I believe there was foul play involved in her collapse Your belief does not constitute 'evidence'.

THAT is hearsay. Read some of what KDD posted above, and educate yourself.

They remain hearsay and should have been ignored by the court for what they are -- mere hearsay. How incredible, then, that Greer was not overturned for relying upon inadmissible evidence. Amazing that the appeals court would explicitly affirm his finding that clear and convincing evidence existed.

MS might have been believable if he had remembered Terri's wishes before he collected monies for her rehab. Why did it take years for him to remember this? What makes you think he didn't 'remember' this before? What makes you think that it didn't take him several years to finally accept that her condition was unrecoverable, and then recognize that he needed to honor her wishes?

The tragedy of her collapsing at the hands of the man Of course there is ZERO evidence that this particular allegation is true.

Thats where you are wrong.
There is circumstantial evidence, which I find to be more credible than the hearsay evidence greer relied on.

Sorry for your misconception again, but you might try reading up a little on the Terri case, you will find that the HINO consistently contradicts himself over the years, but you will not let that upset your talking points for sure. Your comments are humorous!

CP is apparently made up of posters who were either banned, or just didn't like FR anymore. I read the "Wild Turkey" thread when it was new. They exist, but maybe after they sobered up, they felt a little sheepish about some of the things they said.
I hope that none of these people ever end up in less than caring hands, should they become disabled.
To: pickyourpoison
I doubt Terri ever told Michael that. And I doubt that she, or most other normal persons would want to be dehydrated to death.

All you wanted was to see her dead. Another clairvoyant moment. They know what Terri was thinking, they know what MS was thinking, they know what Greer was thinking and now they know what you are thinking. Wonder if they are any good at picking the ponies?

From the article....The unborn, human embryos, and disabled people like Terri Schiavo. These are the expendable ones, according to the prevailing media view. I always thought that liberals were supposed to be compassionate. The liberal media are strangely cold and calculating on the matter of who lives and dies. If you don't meet their test of humanity, you're dead. It's frightening. Who's next on the list? This could mesh very well with the recent gutting of the 5th amendment, by the Supreme Soviet. The recent comments from the AMA are especially chilling.

recent gutting of the 5th amendment, by the Supreme Soviet...the 5th Amendment was gutted by the 'Supreme Soviet' (whoever the h#ll that is). If anything the decision started to return the Amendment to its original intent, prior to 1897.

The tragedy of her collapsing at the hands of the man Of course there is ZERO evidence that this particular allegation is true. You are correct in this statement, but the court should also have taken into account that this "guardian" had abandoned Ms. Schiavo, and had a new common law wife AND children. They should have looked very carefully at this man's actions and motivations. Has anyone been keeping track of Mr. Schiavo to see if he's sporting any new goodies from an insurance payout?
