Several bloggers have drawn attention to a strange lead in a Washington Post story about the Terri Schiavo autopsy results. The June 16 Post story by David Brown said that "Terri Schiavo died of the effects of a profound and prolonged lack of oxygen to her brain on a day in 1990, but what caused that event isn't known and may never be, the physician who performed her autopsy said…"

Are food and hydration medical or not?

If you have to have an artificial feeding tube surgically implanted, then, yes, it does constitute medical treatment.

How does that make you more worthy? If a judge ordered your nutrition and hydratation withheld, would you still support a judge's right to make that decision, or do you only agree when it's someone else they're lording their power over?

Under Florida law, artificial feeding tubes are considered medical treatment which can be refused by the patient.

The alternative would seem to be forcing feeding tubes on people who do not want them. Do you favor that?

Most people do think that judges are crooks. Look at the Supreme Court ruling that private property can be sold to other interests to make bigger govt. thru taxes. Talk about a non-conservative idea to pay people less than market value and push them off their land. Judges are elitist crooks, definitely the Pinellas County Judges, Florida Judges and hey, Ruth Bader Ginsberg was the pres of the aclu. Do you like that? You are siding with the aclu if you think Michael is a saint. LOL Gotcha. You can't possibly be a conservative and be on the same side as the aclu who bankrolled Terri's murder.

A medical procedure does not constitute ongoing medical treatment. Terri was treated worse than a dog. It was barbaric to starve and dehydrate her to death or anyone else for that matter. It was sick that the local police force were accomplices in Terri's murder because they lied, they intimidated Terri's blood relatives, they were true jack booted thugs. Florida is not a place to dwell. There are sharks in the water and there are land sharks in PINELLAS COUNTY.

Nope, that wasn't the court's ruling. I'll quote this again:

The trial court determined, based upon clear and convincing evidence, that Theresa Schiavo was in a persistent vegetative state and that she herself would elect to forego further use of a feeding tube. This court affirmed that judgment. (Florida 2nd District Court of Appeals, March 16, 2005)

And I'm not impressed that a judge who would agree with Michael adjudicated this case. There are corrupt judges everywhere.

You don't like the outcome, so all the judges must be corrupt. I'm sure that makes sense to you.

Conspiracy at the local level, coverup beyond Pinellas County to protect Fla AG Crist, Sheriff Everett Rice and State Atty Bernie McCabe and J. Greer, J. Baird, J. Shames, J. Demers and J. Whittemore-Tampa Fed. Crt, Hospice, Medicaid and DCF. All botched Terri's life up, through incompetence and/or they were following orders.

TERRI WAS MURDERED BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA. That is the bottom line and that is where I'm leading this thread back to.

Logically, you can't be a conservative and condone what the ACLU is doing to this country. They are promoting forced exits, a softer way to say murdering disabled people who didn't ask to be bumped off.

Terri did not refuse the feeding tube. Judge Greer ordered the removal of her feeding tube, and denied any and all attempts to provide hydration and/or nutrition in any manner, including orally. Why do you support his decision to impose these orders on Terri? Do you believe he has the right to impose the same orders on you? Do you believe that you should be subject to the same rules you want other people to be subject to?

I'd stay out of Pinellas County if I were visiting Florida. I plan on staying out of the court system here and my entire family will demand recusal of Greer if we should find ourselves in his courtroom sometime BEFORE HE IS IMPEACHED.
