Several bloggers have drawn attention to a strange lead in a Washington Post story about the Terri Schiavo autopsy results. The June 16 Post story by David Brown said that "Terri Schiavo died of the effects of a profound and prolonged lack of oxygen to her brain on a day in 1990, but what caused that event isn't known and may never be, the physician who performed her autopsy said

Keep telling yourself that. It helps to repeat it over and over before going to sleep. Soon it will be fact for you regardless of any uncomfortable truths.
Thomas Jefferson
The cemetery is pretty quiet. They lined the driveways with American Flags for the 4th. The flag is supposed to stand for freedom. It's not a good time to be disabled.
It is a fact. Her brain was gone, she was blind. All of the wishful thinking from her family was just that. I feel for them and their unwillingness to accept that, but those are facts.
I offer facts. You only offer emotion.
I think you are right to a large extent. What they did was so in-your-face, it was a defining case for the world to see. Maybe it could have happened elsewhere.
If only it were the compassionate care you must have experienced, but it was not.
I don't have anything against Clearwater as such, just the unpleasant beings I encountered there.
Also, I witnessed some rotten things in France, which never would get reported, too.
I offer facts. You only offer emotion.

Um hello, Terri was brain damaged, not brain dead. If her heart didn't know she was dead neither did her lungs, eyes, voice, etc.... Seems to me that when these things still function than someone is clearly alive.
It is what you WANT to believe.
The family was willing to take up her care. Even if to you that just meant watering a potted plant. It means the murdering Micheal did NOT have to "keep his promise".
You haven't been paying attention. Her eyes did not work. All the edited videos that her family posted didn't mean anything.
Edit dozens of hours into a couple minutes, I can show you a videotape that proves the sky is always orange above my house. Doesn't make it so.
Terri was in a PVS. She was gone The only people who claim otherwise are nurses who filed false statements, a doctor who lied to falsify his resume and her family, too distraught to accept reality. It's all very sad, but it's true.
I think we get sensitized to a particular place when we hear so much about it...because my husbands aunt and uncle received such good care, and had such great doctors, that was all I really knew about the Clearwater area....both the aunt and uncle had serious medical problems, very serious problems, and in spite of their advanced age and serious medical problems, they have always had wonderful doctors, who did everything for them, and for that my husband and I were so very grateful...we live in Washington state and they live in Florida...now it is just the uncle...and he has no children...so he looks upon my husband as his son, and the one to exercise his medical rights, should the uncle not be able to speak for himself...so I would hope, ,that if and when that time comes, that my husband will find doctors willing to help his uncle with whatever medical help he needs...
Calling me names is the surest confirmation that your position is indefensible.
Sorry, bub. Facts are facts, no matter what you want them to be. Terri wasn't there for a very long time, and she was not coming back. She couldn't see, the doctored videotapes were fraudulent, and in her position I would pray to God that my family removes the tube.
In fact, I've taken legal steps to ensure that they do.
You offer only emotion. I cannot debate that. Let me know when you have some facts to discuss.
"You haven't been paying attention. Her eyes did not work."
I have been paying attn. My grandfather's eyes don't work, should we call him dead to? God forbid we start calling people dead and not worth life is their eyes don't work!
"Edit dozens of hours into a couple minutes, I can show you a videotape that proves the sky is always orange above my house. Doesn't make it so."
Why is it you refuse to believe the family of terri Schindler and just believe MIchael Schiavo? I have the answer, cause you are ignorant, death craving liberal.
"Terri was in a PVS. She was gone The only people who claim otherwise are nurses who filed false statements, a doctor who lied to falsify his resume and her family, too distraught to accept reality. It's all very sad, but it's true."
Oh, so all the nurses that filed statement that Terri was in fact alive were all a bunch of liars huh? LMAO! So, the family are liars, the nurses were all liars, doctors were all liars who said Terri was not in PVS, etc...? You are hilarious. Honestly, I think if there was even more prrof thrown in your face that Terri wasn't in PVS you'd still say that prrof is lies. believe what you want, but you are a fool!
"Calling me names is the surest confirmation that your position is indefensible."
Just stating the obvious facts. Your nuts and I'm sure most here agree with me on that!
"Sorry, bub"
Wait now, did you just contridict yourself by calling me bub? isn't that name calling? HMMMM
I'm done with you and won't bother responding to you anymore. Please go away from FR. This is a place for Conservatives and frankly you are the most sickening of liberals i have seen on here lately. Be gone troll! BUH BYE!
I don't know what color the sky is in your world, but "bub" isn't an insult. It's just a name, like "pal," friend," or "fella."
You're overly emotional, seeing insults where there aren't any. And you hurl insults at me, and anyone's supposed to take your position seriously?
Bye. If you ever want to have a conversation like an adult, you know where to find me.

I think 'alternate reality' is most appropriate.
You refuted them as effectively as ever. Good job!

Gosh, you'd think with all that, a higher court would find that Greer had abused his discretion.
Didn't happen.
So who should I believe, all the judges who heard this case and its appeals, or some people posting unfounded rumors on an internet site?
