Several bloggers have drawn attention to a strange lead in a Washington Post story about the Terri Schiavo autopsy results. The June 16 Post story by David Brown said that "Terri Schiavo died of the effects of a profound and prolonged lack of oxygen to her brain on a day in 1990, but what caused that event isn't known and may never be, the physician who performed her autopsy said

I wish the Schindlers would come to Dallas sometime, i would love to meet them. If I get to Fl. in Dec. i hope they wil come to the vigil gathering!
I was also thinking he might pick Gonzales after he appeased us.
However, maybe not, as there is so much passion out there among pro-lifers, I think his advisers will tell him he better pick pro-life conservatives.
Time will tell.
BTW, Judge Roberts' wife was on the board of Feminists for LIFE. It seems as if a woman like that would have picked the right guy. :)
Received this from lifeissues.org via e-mail:
"President Bush Honors His Pledge to America
President Bush has appointed Judge John Roberts to the US Supreme Court.
Judge Roberts is currently serving on the US Court of Appeals for the
District of Columbia. The Senate confirmed him just two years ago by a
unanimous vote. The President has honored his pledge to Americans that
he would appoint a nominee who will strictly interpret the Constitution
and not legislate from the bench. While we dont know how hed rule on
abortion, he has demonstrated faithfulness to the Constitution and the
rule of law. Judge Roberts, a Harvard graduate with honors, has
impeccable credentials and is highly respected by both sides of the
political isle. We join the President in asking the Senate to conduct
quick and efficient hearings so that our nations highest Court will be
fully staffed upon the beginning of its next term."
My complex was in the center of the storm and it was calm here. Apparently, the storm caused a lot of damage after it left my neighborhood. Shadow Run Apt. Complex was hit, a mobile home park on Belcher was hit, a mobile home park by the Home Depot was hit (possible loss of life) and part of Home Depot's roof blew off. That HD is a little over a year old.
I feel really lucky because all the channels showed the bullseye right on top of my neighborhood. But, nothing was happening in the bullseye and it wasn't even dark here.
Check www.baynews9.com later. They are working on this right now. This is the biggest tornado to hit here since like 92 or 93.
I could hear the sirens which I was told were coming from the Home Depot. I go there all the time. Maybe HD has bloggers.
It's strange to be in the center of a storm, everyone calling to make sure I was okay but nothing was happening here. Bay News 9 is still working on this. Nothing yet.
Talk about a close call.
Patricia Heaton is a feminist for life too.
OH my! It's a twister Auntie Em!!!!
I'm so glad you are ok!! Could you see the clouds in the area where the tornado was or were you taking cover?
An F4 is certain to have done some serious damage. I grew up with tornadoes, I would see hurricane damage on tv and say I'll never live where hurricanes can hit. Ate those words!
So glad you are okay floriduh voter! (too bad it didn't get the Sherriff's department.)
I think it was pretty bad because the tornado hit so many different locations as it travelled from 66th St. by Hospice, northwest to Belcher Rd and then further northwest to Home Depot. Woodside Hospice is at about #2 on the home depot map.
I received lots of calls and reassured all that nothing happened here and that I was okay. The sky was dark according to people who live elsewhere here but it wasn't dark at my house. The tornado didn't drop here is all that I can come up with.
The scanner revealed more than Bay News 9 could really tell me on the phone because they were in a rush to put everything together - nothing yet. There's a lot to sort out, I'm afraid. I hope the loss of life isn't as bad as the scanner indicated.
F-4 tornado misses fv's house. It was a very close call.
Have there been any deaths reported? Homepage hasn't mentioned it yet. An F4 isn't anything to wink at!
Obviously the Lord is looking out for you tonite!
Deaths reported on the scanner, not by any media yet. It came up so fast, if people were caught in it, they didn't stand a chance. I didn't see any funnel clouds but I was in the bullseye. I don't know much about tornadoes? or tornados?
Oh my word, glad you are ok FV. Sounds like God is angry with Fl, what do you think?
shark attacks, Red Tide, tornado, hail, hurricanes. alligator attacks. Business as usual in Pinellas County. I'd like to thank God for skipping my house.
Yes, thank Him a lot, cause after what happend to Terri I don't think God is going to be good to Pinellas County these days.
Bay News 9 just reported. Fox Ch 13 doing story now. No word on Home Depot. Why so hush hush about Home Depot? I find that to be odd.
Our job is to make it right the best we can. Hopefully John Roberts is a step the right way.
no reported deaths on either Fox 13 or Bay News 9. But, they are quashing news about Home Depot. I wonder if that's a homeland security issue because they don't allow their stores to be photographed.
Pinellas County is turning into a dreadful place and they will reap what they sow.
