...a full baking tray of pot cookies, to be exact. Fascinating article about some of our friends in Northern California.

You'd think so, wouldn't you? Unfortunately, it sounds like they don't enjoy the herb all that much.

Not a pleasant thought to consider, A Pit bull with the munchies. No more entries, ladies and gentlemen. We have a winner.

Well, this one was pretty peaceful. The only thing he attacked was the box of Arm & Hammer.

As soon as I saw "Humboldt County" in the text, it was a dead giveaway!

My favorite thing here, other than Tank, is the iguana who got stoned. (No, surprisingly enough, he did not turn into Hunter Thompson.)

"A lot of times a kid will stash some pot in his room and leave the door open. In goes the dog and out goes the evidence," Haynes says A dog (or human) can't get "high" on marijuana unless the active incredient (THC) is released through the burning (or cooking) process. Eating buds out the the bag won't do the trick.
Of course the dog in this article ate cookies made with marijuana butter (a cooked product), so his toxicity makes sense.
Dogs prefer beer.

Yeah, I do.
....although I suppose one could get high from a placebo effect.

Are you sdaying that THC isn't released by digestion? I never knew.

Anyone who gives drugs to animals needs their ass beat.
Ditto to anyone who gives drugs to unsuspecting humans.

I guess what you ate was of the brick variety. Something with some fuzzies (keef) will do the trick without being burned. I would certainly know the difference from a placebo effect.

Not to be argumentative, but later in the article, a lady DVM from Humboldt tells about an iguana that passed out for a few days after its owner allegedly fed it some buds.
