The President of the United States, putting in a strict constructionist/originalist as a key USSC Justice, who no doubt will be THE tipping vote to effect our lives for the next thirty or so years--keeping us one step away from Culture of Death/Culture of Atheism Judicial Tyranny, MEANS MORE TO ME at this point than any amount of his personal loyalty to any friends he may happen to have.The President's BIGGEST FRIEND is the United States itself and it's future.
Gonzales may be a fine man, but if he is then he can stay in the post he has only recently been selected for.
But the thing is, the man has not even been nominated. That didn't stop anyone.
Fine to discuss the various positions of someone AFTER they have been nominated.
