Schummer said what we all knew ... it doesn't matter who the nominee is, the Democrats are "going to war." He mocked the gang of 14 deal - probably in the same tones most of us on FR have mocked the gang of 14 deal.
The questions are: will Frist roll over? and is Specter the guy Schummer was talking to?
He was having a nice little chat with Light-loafer Lindsey.
I'm hoping this will be the last straw for Frist, will make him madder than hell and he'll be strong. I'm sure GWB is focused regardless of who he has in mind to nominate, and this will ensure angst for Frist too. How that shakes out is anyone's guess, tho.
