I wonder if Lindsey is going to switch parties.
Hasn't happened yet, but hope it comes about someday.
================
Even William Rehnquist is more moderate than they expected. The only ones that resulted how they predicted were [Antonin] Scalia and [Ruth Bader] Ginsburg. So most of the time they've gotten their picks wrong, and that's what we want to do to them again.

Looks like Chuck is too late.
Laura Ingraham beat him to it.
My Gaydar just pegged itself.
In other *shocking* news, the Pope today announced he is Catholic.
"O.k., jou wanna go to war? We take you to war. SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!"
Someone needs to take Lindsey out to the woodshed.
Actually, the Democrats are who they say they are, and at least they are honest. However, the seven Republicans who always give aid to the Democrats are so vile and loathsome in character there's no name vile enough that can be applied to them.
Not likely. Repubs, even if they are, in truth, Democrats, tend to stay on in the Republican Party as double agents and double crossers. At least Democrats, like Zel Miller and Ben "Lighthorse" Campbell, defected publicly.
Check this out, things are getting weirder and weirder:
Ex-Sen. Fred Thompson Named to Oversee Court Nominee
President Bush has named former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson to help shepherd his yet-to-be-named Supreme Court nominee through the Senate, White House spokesman Scott McClellan said Wednesday.
Thompson, an actor on the NBC television series "Law & Order," agreed to accept the post in a telephone conversation with the president on Monday, McClellan said. He said Thompson would serve as an informal adviser to shepherd the nomination through the Senate.
"Senator Thompson will guide the nominee through the confirmation process," McClellan said.

That was posted a few hours ago. I think it is a brilliant move.
"Party before Country - it's the Democratic Way!"
Should read:
"Party before Country - it's the Democrats way!"
There's nothing democratic about the way that the Democrats are trying to run the show.
Well sorry I just logged on and saw in on FNC, why do you think it's brilliant? Not that I disagree necessarily, I just haven't given it a lot of thought yet.
Sad thing is that he'll not face any serious opposition during his reelection bid.
No he won't. But Hillary will this time around.
I don't think it will help him at all, anywhere. Democrats won't vote for him, and now, neither will the conservative base. Isn't it strange how he's miscalculated this? I'm sure he thought that, as a Gang of 14 member, he'd ride McCain's coattails to the White House.
The only explanation I can think of for such a startlingly stupid move, is that he's immersed in Beltway Think. He pays far more attention to the Washington press and the general buzz in Congress than he does to America -- you know, that place outside the Beltway where the voting goes on.
First, people like him, he's a likeable person. He comes accross as reasonable and people want a reasonable process.
Next, he can "act" like he is working with Democrats as a former senator and he will be all over TV for weeks debating Kennedy and Schumer...once again people will be attracted to his reasonableness vs. Kennedy and Schumer's hated filled venomous attacks.
