N. Korean Cigarettes and Liquor Receive A Radical Facelift |
Inter-Korean Design Exchange Association (in S. Korea) suggested new designs for the a N. Korean cigarette package and a liquor bottle. The ones on the left are original N. Korean products, the Red Star Cigarettes and the Azalea Liquor, and the ones on the right are the newly designed package and bottle. They hope the new designs would help boost their sale abroad. |
Ping!
Well, the cigarettes could be made of straw, but liquor?
Out of wild flowers.:-)
I would never buy a product from an ass-backwards police state like North Korea.
It's a little like buying Cuban cigars when you're travelling outside of the US.
Your money helps keep that police state in power!
OTOH, the Azalea liquor looks interesting. Anyone know what it is made from?
Apparently they need to conserve straw for the production of hard hats, I was guessing they are made of dried dung.
It is a kind of wine, a flower wine, to be exact, using azalea flowers as ingredients.
Azaleas?
I've met more than a few S. Korean college students who would spend their allowance on a pack of Red Stars, given the chance.
There would be some who insists on smoking it no matter how crappy it tastes.:-) Losers.
Heavy Water?
LOL!
It's very possible!
