I wonder what the age of the cardinal has to do with it? No reason for that to be in the headline. He is 55? That is not unusually young. Pope Benedict was in his early 50s when he was made a cardinal. Pope John Paul was an archbishop when he was in his 40s.
Exactly right. Good observation. What the heck does age have to do with the decision??? If it were an older Cardinal would the heading be "Old man Catholic Cardinal....etc.?" I hate the way journalists write anymore. It was my profession years ago and I am ashamed at how unprofessional it has become.
