Thanks for the ping...yes, please add me to the list.
It's about 7 hours driving round trip, so I can't make it very often, but I'd like to try again sometime in July. Unfortunately, our office is very short-staffed and I'm having to go out into the field all of next week, etc., and I'm not sure I can make it. Please know I'm there in spirit, if not in person.

Don't give up yet, maybe you can write another.. passionate & persuasive invite? I haven't given up on my participation, but I no longer expend much energy on trying to persuade others to come along. I just put the information out there and let folks absorb or ignore it. But at least one person mentioned he had come last Friday because of all the bumping of last week's thread.

You got a picture of Skippy!
Gael Murphy and the rest of the pinkos were a sorry lot last week; they spent most of their evening sulking without signs as Murphy frantically made cellphone calls. (I can only imagine the voicemail messages she left on folks' phones.)
It was a Code Pink Cluster-Foxtrot.
See you on Friday, everyone.

Thank you so much for doing what you do. It's not possible for me to join you but I'm so glad you are there.
I experienced physical revulsion when this photo scrolled onto my screen.

Great job! Looks like you are making tremendous progress. Thank you for letting our wounded in Walter Reed know they don't have to look at the Pinkers, but can instead see you guys and your wonderful signs.

It was my pleasure. It was humbling speaking to a 19-year old munching pizza as he explained that he was still undergoing rehab to walk on his prosthetic right leg, but he was looking forward to return to his unit. He and his friend pulled up in their car just to tell us they didn't appreciate the Code Pinkos. I also got a lump in my throat as a young military wife with two children, whose 25-year old husband is in the hospital recovering from IED injuries, asked me why "those people" are outside the hospital when the family is simply trying to recuperate.
The Code Pinkos are the lowest of the low.

It took their leader to get some of the worthless out. They aren't going out easy but I think they are going to fold. We need to keep pounding.
