STARR COUNTY -- A man faces federal charges after agents find dozens of immigrants held hostage.
Border Patrol agents found a stash house in Starr County this week holding dozens of illegal immigrants. A smuggler was reportedly holding them hostage there.
Authorities said one man managed to escape and call for help. Agents said they could hear people screaming from inside the house. Police arrested one man who now faces federal charges.
The immigrants, all from Honduras and El Salvador, will be deported.
Starr, County Ping!
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off this South Texas/Mexico ping list.
Stash held hostage in Immigrants house (Roma, Texas)
The immigrants, all from Honduras and El Salvador, will be deported
Only to come right back into the US again....
And of course, that presumes that they aren't given their notices to disappear from the local immigration court. Catch and release, don't you know...
I hope there is further reports on this incident, would like to know more about the guy holding them hostage.
The immigrants, all from Honduras and El Salvador, will be deported.<<<
Good! Lets hope they stay there!
These people pay smugglers to get them in, then their families pay to get them released when they get here..yet, if they survive, WE TAXPAYERS get to pay for their food, clothing, education and medical for them and the rest of their welfar loving families.
Protect our borders and coastlines from all foreign invaders!
Be Ever Vigilant!
Minutemen Patriots ~ Bump!
Make illegal invasion of the U.S.A. a felony
charge all illegal invaders....fine them and sentence them
Let them work off their sentences and fines.
Put them on work gangs building a great barrior between the USA and Mexico and between the USA and Canada
imo
This happens all the time here in Phoenix. The smugglers truck the illegals in late at night so no one in the neighborhood notices. There may be 70 or 80 of them in a house and no one will suspect a thing until a couple of the smugglers get into a gunfight over them. Then one or two will escape and run to a neighbor for help, and when the police show up they find a houseful of illegals. One or two usually escapes into town, and the coyotes almost always run off at the first sign of trouble.
A HUGE STINKING LIE!!!
Right you are. They won't be deported. They'll be released after they sign a promise to return for an immigration court hearing.
