Your praise is to much, I was only 18 when I got to the South Pacific, and did not know much other than I was a MARINE and that I was fighting for my country. Chong, the people in your country did the same when the North came down. I still say that the service people in all of the wars before and after did as much as did we in WWII. When I look at the pictures of these young people now I wonder how they can do what they do. They suffer under hardships that no-one should have to suffer under.

Sir, you and other men and women who served during WWII deserve my praise and more from more people. At such a tender age, so far away from home.......

You brought freedom to so many. I feel fortunate to be able to offer you my sincere thanks for my own freedom. Once again, God Bless you, Sir, and may God Bless and Protect our Troops.
