I would suspect not a direct connection -- why? Peanut change. AQ needs big money in "direct action". Credit Card theft done overseas? Takes longer to not only track; but to notice. Could credit card funds be used to buy supplies for terrorists? Food, transportation? Would that qualify? How about funds used to fund specific, "direct action" anti-American protests, activities, speakers?
