Hillary won't lose a single libbie vote on this--they can see her winking at them, and will let her run on this "Red State" position until she's elected president, at which point she will appoint a Blue Ribbon Panel to investigate Ways To Strengthen Our Borders, and will accept their findings just before Election Day 2012, and will run on a Let Her Finish The Job platform, and upon her re-election will promptly lose these findings in the Senate and shrug and say "I did what I could, now let's get back to work on those Welcoming Centers on the Texas border, we have lots more political refugees to welcome..."

You are right. Actually many if not most liberal Americans (who are not politicians) are also against illegal immigration. They are only FOR it when a conservative comes out against it and they are able to call that conservative a "bigot" Wake up republicans!
There are many more arguments against illegal immigration than I've been hearing. Most illegals come here from Mexico and Central America via Mexico or from Canada. This is making it very very difficult for other nationalities who wish to come to the USA with all good intentions. A pro-American, pro-capitalist Vietnamese who knows that big government, socialism and communism fails everytime has less than a 5% chance of getting a VISA after applying. Why? Because the USA has already reached it quota many times over thanks to illegal immigration from Mexico who come here NOT to contribute to our capitalist society but to live off US government hand-outs.

How is that any different from what our sitting president has done in 4-1/2 years? I would never vote for HRC. I will never vote for another "compassionate conservative" either. Bush cured me of that, and made me realize there is not much difference in the "two" parties.
