Their regime is not friendly but as far as I know there is not such slogan in their national anthem
Theme song, not national anthem.
It's a metapher.
I think the phrase was coined during the revolution by the Ayatollah Khomeini followers.
I think the mad mullahs have stepped over the line and everyone in the world has recognized it.
I think soon the Iranian people will be free.
Iranian national anthem lyrics:
Upwards on the horizon rises the Eastern Sun,
The sight of the true Religion.
Bahman - the brilliance of our Faith.
Your message, O Imam, of independence and freedom
is imprinted on our souls.
O Martyrs! The time of your cries of pain rings in our ears.
Enduring, continuing, eternal,
The Islamic Republic of Iran.
Maybe not in the National Anthem of Iran, but certainly in the slogans sung and shouted from 1979 to recent times.
It seems whenever a camera came out, there was a demonstration. People shouting Marg Bar Amrika!
Khomenie telling everyone the US was the great Satan.
It is literally only in the last 4 or 5 years that I heard anything different. The internet has opened a lot of eyes.
But the hard liners still shout those slogans.
