Kidman was a minor actress (we're talking Aussie-made-for-PBS type movies) until she hooked up with Cruise and some
of his movies before she started getting good leading roles, independant of a Cruise vehicle. In other words,
she had doors opened and projects offered because of Cruise and the Scientologists.

Scientologists provide a psychological support group for would-be actors, given the high rate of rejection in
that biz, they are naturally attracted to it, because of the support, and they respond accordingly.
Given the prevelance of Scientologists in that biz, the connections, like any other organization, can be
quite influential. That's what Katie's going to get.

My own speculation, regarding the Page 6 blurb and your mentioning the Scientology agent means that the press
is on for Katie, given the failure of converting Kidman. JMTC
I read that somebody from Scientology shadows Tom's girlfriend, and she (shadower) has had to promise that if she gets pregnant, she will have an abortion.
If this is true, Scientology is even more evil than I thought.
