There was plenty of evidence to convict OJ. But a jury of black women refused to convict him for murdering a white woman who "stole" a black man. Fuhrman's record as a detective is quite stellar -- and as a previous poster mentioned, wrote an investigative book that served as the prosecution's roadmap for the murder trial and conviction of Michael Skakel.
You might not like him, and that's your choice. But Fuhrman had OJ nailed dead to right.
The OJ trial was jury nullification, plain and simple.
Furhman was a marine and then was with the LA PD for many years. Working some of the roughest spots in LA. He received numerous comendations.
He's a good investigator. He did screw up by saying he never said the "N Word" but that hardly made OJ guilty.
So, lying about the use of and actual use of the N word is a cardinal sin which casts doubts on a person's competency. By those standards then, most of the blacks and a large percentage of whites are incompetent boobs because they either have used the N word or are using it.
If you're hell bent on fingering incompetence in the OJ trial, look no farther than the jury.
Mr. Fuhrman did fine with the Martha Moxley Murder. Skakel sits in Prison today. Fuhrman turned out to be correct on the O.J. Murders too! I for one, will ignore your comments henceforth.
What do you think of Schiavo's lawyer? You like defending that freak show? You think Fuhrman is less credible?
Unofrtunately, we have been losing the PR battle on Schiavo, and it cost Terri her life. Her husband's behavior, and his lawyer's demeanor, have been world-class creepy. The fact that it takes Fuhrman to tell the truth is unfortunate.

Couldn.t find evidence on OJ? Remind us who found the bloody glove at Simpson's home? Who noticed the blood on the door handle of the Bronco? He was hated because he found too much evidence.
