I agree that "most" perps were victims too BUT that does not mean society should or must excuse a criminals choice to commit crimes and misdemeanors towards innocent citizens. Two wrongs DO NOT make a right. Our country has already gone through the various forms of trying to rehabilitate rapists, child molesters, etc. The purple Barney dinosaur PC approach towards sex offenders with "You Love me, We Love you" hasn't worked. So it's back to the drawing board.
