I seriously doubt it. You must remember that Russia has had its own problems with terrorism. Remember the school bombing, the theater takeover, the downing of the two passenger aircraft. There may have been others but you get my point. Furthermore, it after 9/11 that Russia, the Russians were not dancing in the streets, they were in Church Praying. Finally better to trust the Russians than the Chinese. With the Chinese what do you get an unfloated currency, plus they get our jobs, they steal our aircraft and take our Military hostage, fight us in Korea, screw us over in Vietnam. At least with Russia we fought with them in WWII and they took a lot more casualties than we did.
