But most importantly he says Canadians in the U.S. should counteract Fox News, alleging that the network often spreads disinformation and creates a false picture of his homeland.

This idiot might want to ask his fellow Canadians living in the US why they came here, he will probably find out it't because they are fed up with Canadian socialism.

McKenna says the effort is to boost support for Canada here, and to counter what he says is the "Fox factor," referring to the Fox News Channel, America's most popular cable news network, and its most highly-rated show, "The O'Reilly Factor."

That's all O'Reilley's ego needs - to know it is now him vs. Canada.

So exactly which of these points did Fox get wrong? Actually none, right? I thought so.

"We have to be careful that we're not sanctimonious. We have to recognize the United States has assumed a different role in the world than us and it's a role we're not> prepared to can't play,[ because the Liberal government of Canada has depleted it's army to little more than a well armed boy scout chapter.] "

There you go, Frank McKenna, fixed it for you, lets not spread disinformation, ok? Clarity is important.

Canada's Ambassador Declares War on Fox News

He should be addressing the Canadian MP's. Is it FOX News fault that Canadian MP's say that they "hate those American bastards" just one of the many insults thrown at America by Canadian MP's?

Sounds like a major whine and snivel from the Canadian ambassador. He needs to go back to doing whatever it is that ambassadors do. And in a war between Fox and Canada, I'll take Fox. They have a bigger and more efficient army.

I also understand that a couple of weeks ago two male Canadian soldiers were allowed to marry each other. In other news, the 1st Canadian Hairdresser Brigade will soon be activated, to be followed by the activation of the 1st Canadian Interior Decoration Battalion.

""Then all of a sudden we've multiplied our efforts exponentially and we have a lot more people out there armed with information," he said. "

Is this biased information, Mr. Ambassador? Remember to "keep it pithy and no bloviating."

Calling on Canadians wintering in Florida, retirees in Arizona, Hollywood comedians and actors, investment bankers in New York and professors and students at universities across the United States, McKenna said they should carry these messages to Americans:

* Canada is the largest source of imported crude oil in the U.S., bigger than Saudi Arabia or the yet untested reserves of Iraq.

* Canada has rotated 13,500 troops in the war on terror, has committed $300 million to rebuilding Iraq and is about to deploy a reconstruction team to Afghanistan.

* None of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorists entered the U.S. from Canada.

* Canada-U.S. trade supports more than five million American jobs.

Not to mention exporting this guy...

So how did Canada get its name? Well, it seems that there were three explorers who got there first. One night they were sitting around a campfire and one asked, "What are we going to call this place?"

And the second one said, "Well, how about we each pick a letter and see what that spells?"

And the third guy says, "Great Idea! I'll start. C, hey?"

(If I need to finish from here you'll never understand it anyway.)

Not that you folks need telling but the Toronto Star is an openly socialist paper. It's jokingly called the Red Star and Toronto Pravda around here.

Blaming FOX is pretty lame. How about blaming all the Canadian media with their hate America agenda?

We're well aware of the trading situation, it would seem that Canada is NOT. They're the ones bashing us at every turn.

The ambassador hopes that his new network of Canadians "will be in the millions."

Wonder if part of his plan is to encourage them to vote illegally in US elections... He sure seems to be bent on altering the political dialog in the US, although he would be aghast if a similar style of interference were tried by Americans in Canada (Oh, but I forgot, showing American TV channels in Canada is tantamount to American cultural imperialism, and so turnabout is fair play, eh - < /sarcasm>)...
