Reuters news service, citing an unnamed senior Afghan police official, reported that U.S. forces bombarded hostile positions in the area on Sunday. U.S. military officials have only reported conducting air strikes on a hostile compound Friday.

Glad to see the blackout on news -- there may be some big fish to catch still in this operation.

But my concern is that the US munitions they brought with them may be low. They may be forced to use Taliban weapons and ammo. But then the AK47 is fairly reliable I guess, and they probably know more about the AK47 than the Taliban does...
