Many people here in the USA simply don't understand what's going on in Iran. I also believe many FReepers don't either.
As someone who has several close friends who were born in Iran and have relatives still living there, I somewhat understand what is going on there in Iran. Not to mention all the great stuff the two of you have posted here on Free Republic.
Feed the uninformed, don't trash them

I totally agree with you. However, I called snowislander ignorant on the situation which I don't consider personally insulting or attacking, however if it was taken as such then I would like to personally apologize to snowislander.

I try to educate when someone seems to be genuinely illinformed.
This person is here to make insults and cause trouble.
While I understand your position, I wouldn't be to hard on them. After all, this thread is ongoing, if not daily.
Many of us are on ping lists and read it and communicate with those that are in Iran on a regular basis. It is difficult to watch what has happened to these poor people only to have those that pop on the thread once and think they know what is going on.
I am sure you can understand their frustration. You are very patient. We don't all have that virtue.
