It has not been shown the Downing Street Memo was a fake. The poster is probably referring to the suspicious behavior of the reporter claiming he destroyed the original.

I'll add that the Downing Street Memo did not contain any bombshell information anyway despite the hysterical cries from the left about it.

"It has not been shown the Downing Street Memo was a fake."

The Downing Street Memo hasn't been *shown* at all, save for an image on the Internet that shows an official seal on a supposedly retyped copy.

There's a reason the Downing Street Memo went away so quickly. It simply can't be verified to be authentic at all.

Darn, I got an answer and he's been banned but I want to answer, so I shall. The banned poster replied:

The poster did imply that the Downing Street memo was fake. Bogus means fake, and he also said:

'Rathergate and Downing Street Memogate were just warm-ups for the new Marxists-at-Kinkos era. The good news is, WE are warmed up."

How do you interpret the "Marxists-at-Kinkos" part?

Of course my reply is that I never denied what the poster was saying or implying.

Not mentioned yet....that Lawrence O'Donnell's bombshell is relegated to a dubious boast "I knew it all along" disclosure on the McLaughlin Report and on Arriana Huffinton's webstite. How impressive is that? :) And how pathetic is Isikoff if he gets O'Donnell to hype his column? Besides, if this were a BIG story, don't you think Time would be the one to break it?
