Poor baby,
Prayers going out that she's found OK.

This mother is 21 yrs old - she has 3 kids and isn't married and is living with a "fiance" who has friends drop by at 2 AM?
How many fathers are involved here?
these poor kids are doomed with trash like this for a parent.
these poor kids are doomed with trash like this for a parent.
Spare me your value judgments...a child is missing.
stinkerpot although I totaly agree that randy Patrie had no business being at that apartment at 2 am and most likely either drinking or other drugs were on those men minds, to call Noel a whitetrash momma is way out of line. Noel is a hard working loving mother and doesnt deserve such harsh judgement. Noel is a third shift Nurse's Aide which is a job deserving ALOT of respect.
how many men or fathers for these 3 children.
What kind of household was that where people dropped by at 2am to see the fiance?
The mother is a poor judge of character, the child is the victim of these people's lifestyle
Good point......
I don't understand what all of these judgmental comments are about. Uncalled for.
The point is ......a child is missing.
>>>It's relevant to the case of her being missing....
And just how the bloody hell do you know that? Stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night? The child's father is married, lives in Waterloo, IA and what little reporting of the inter-family relationships I've seen indicates they all got along fine. Is it odd that people would drop by at 2am? Yes. Unheard of? No. Indicative of anything you've concluded? Not without further evidence.
So again, I say spare me your value judgements. A child is missing.
Thanks for the link! Prayers continue...
Hi Keith; I've been emailing this story to Fox since Saturday (I'm sure others have as well). Glad to hear they finally mentioned it; sent it to Greta earlier today, too. The fact that they waited so long to search vehicles and the home of the last two known to have seen her is rather odd IMO....judges on vacation or something?
We all know that point,so now we have to move beyond that...did the biological father kidnap the missing child??
Wow, Cut down on the coffee, you're really over-reacting
Stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night?
I'm sure that's considered a lame comeback even in Iowa
The child's father is married, lives in Waterloo, IA and what little reporting of the inter-family relationships I've seen indicates they all got along fine.
The father is married? How long? Is he the father of the other two babies too?
Is it odd that people would drop by at 2am? Yes. Unheard of? No.
Not unheard of in unstable, irresponsible homes, right
Indicative of anything you've concluded? Not without further evidence.
I'm sure that's coming
I feel sorry for these kids who lived in that house and hope they find that little girl alive.
when my son was younger (and now sometimes), I was very sensitive to what i now call 'mommy radar'. Some people just give you a funny feeling. It's hard to explain, and sometimes they are people who have worked with children for years. I had an extremely awkward situation with one of my dh's "old family friends" a couple of years ago, and then when I spoke to another relative about it, she said I'm so glad you said that, because....
I talked plainly to my son about freaks who bug kids. And that if he ever felt funny around someone or that they were 'weird' or strange to tell me immediately and plainly because as careful as we can be, sometimes you just can't tell.
I am convinced, though, that in many/most of these cases, it is the company these parents keep (sadlly).
FLOYD, IA The family of missing 5-year-old Evelyn Miller hugged volunteer searchers and personally offered their thanks today at a 3 p.m. news conference called by authorities.
Floyd County Attorney Marilyn Dettmer told the media that she wanted to clarify some information about the case.
The two late-night visitors to Noel Smith's rural Floyd apartment early Friday morning, allegedly the last people to see Evelyn Miller, were acquaintances, not friends of the family.
The home of the acquaintances, Randy Patrie and Dan Slick of Charles City, was the scene of a search by law enforcement Monday afternoon.
Dettmer declined to offer any further information on the criminal aspect of the case.
