Is this common, for someone in Rove's position to know who individual CIA agents are?Rove didn't even know Wilson went to Niger, let alone who recommended him, until Wilson revealed it in his column.
Since the Wilson column was published when the President was in Africa and the administration response was uncharacteriscally inept showing they clearly had no idea what was going on, that alone demonstrates it wasn't anyone from those quarters.

Wow, I hadn't read the whole transcript. O'Donnell is flat-out bonkers, isn't he?
To: onyx
this O'Donnell guy was continuously specualating about the source being another name... I just can't recall that name. Probably Scooter Libby?
Libby was another name the dems tossed around with abandon until he was cleared by reluctant reporters (including Matt Cooper).

Was Rove "in the White House" at the time of the leak? Didn't he get his job in the WH after the last election?

Here's the
video. It's about 6 minutes, but really should be seen.

I can just see Wilson, thinking he's so suave and debonair, adjusting his ascot, while he whispers what his wife does -- using her position and embellishing it to give him credibility .. all the while, making his dastardly attempt to undermine W. I think he's the culprit and his Klintonite Kabal .. then he squeals afterward that her cover's been blown by the WH, who I don't believe authorized or had any specific knowledge of his "adventure."

Valerie Plame was an undercover agent. She was sleeping with a (former) US Ambassador.
Somehow this leaked out.

Has anyone ever seen somebody "dragged" into a grand jury? Pet peeve of mine. You're not alone. During the Starr grand jury I noticed that witnesses were "dragged" or "hauled".
That's the lefty way when they don't like an investigation. When they do, a witness is simply "called".
To: hipaatwo
No crime from anyone was committed by giving her name. The Grand Jury has to determine that the individual(s) knew Plame was an undercover operative and leaked it on purpose. I personally think the GJ is beyond that because they haven't reinterviewed any administration official to clarify any issues or get someone on perjury. Novak had probably already testified to who it was and the judge is testing Miller and Cooper to see who he has to send to jail for defying his order.

I didn't follow this Plame thing much. I wasn't much into politics when this happened. The one thing I do know is that O'Donnell is completely insane. It will be nice to see the DUmmies get their hopes up and once again their brains smashed in with disappointment.
