I meant to suggest that somehow the little boy was killed BY the farm house location that same day, hidden and left behind. After Duncan had his way with him.

Duncan was afraid of being ALONE (according to his sick blog), so he may have wanted Jessica as a companion. Just a wild guess here.

FBI, helicopter & dogs in on the search just after the murders. The dogs turned up nada.
