I don't watch (p)MSNBC, so I don't know who this guy is. Is he trying to become the next Dan Rather?

O'Donnall is a lying sack of guano! I think the term that he actually coined was 'creepy liar' (referencing the Swifties). So I think his own term might fit.

Novak said his was not political, this was the original leaker that started the independent invest.Right. He had written a column since July 2003 (when he dropped her name in an article of his) saying for the record, that said his source was not even in the White House.

O'Donnell's career crashed and burned with his attack on the swift vets so he really doesn't have anything left to lose.

Below, from the full interview transcript, is an extract done by James Taranto of the Wall Street Journal of some of Lawrence ODonnells inquisition:
It's one of the many lies that the book advances. To me the most interesting lie, John O'Neill, that I would submit to you that you should answer, is, you make a lying claim
that John Kerry's antiwar activity prolonged the amount of time that prisoners of war were held in Vietnam. . . . That's a lie, John O'Neill! Keep lying, it's all you do! . . . Lies! . . . Which is not in John O'Neill's book, 'cause it's a lie! . . . That's a lie! It's another lie! That's a lie! Absolute lie! You lie in that book endlessly! . . . You lie about documents endlessly! . . . You're just lying about it! And you lied about Thurlow's Bronze Star! You lied about it as long as you could until the New York Times found the wording of what was on the citation that you as a lying writer refused to put in your pack of lies! . . . Disgusting, lying book! . . . You have no standards, John O'Neill, as an author, and you know it! It's a pack of lies! You are unfit to publish! . . . He just lied to you! He spews out this filth! Point to his name on the report, you liar! Point to his name, you liar! . . . You just spew lies! . . . I just hate the lies of John O'Neill. I hate lies. It's not an argument; they're proven lies. . . . O'Neill's a liar, he's been a liar for 35 years about this, and he's found other liars [unintelligible]. . . . They lied! . . . They're lying somewhere! . . . Lies! Just tell me the initials, you liar! Creepy liar! . . . You are a liar who makes things up! . . . You want the lies! That's how you make your living, on lies!

Leaking the spy's name or identity would not be a crime if Karl Rove or any other Republican ideologue had not committed it; such accusation would require evidence if not lodged against the Republicans.
Let's face it: The Great Liberal Court of Star Chamber has pronounced guilt upon Karl Rove; therefore, he is guilty, albeit of a nonexistent crime and despite no evidence whatsoever beyond fervored accusations repeated over years. Soon the Judge of said court, the most honorable Howard Dean, shall pronounce a sentence upon Rove, which he must serve, and whereafter he shall proceed to eternal damnation, except that the Evil One will reject him.

Lawrence O'Donnell can't mask his hatred for the Bush administration. He's like a male Elenor Clift. Eleanor is the masculine one.

Yeah. That's basically when he got the heave-ho from MSNBC's political analyst job, and his credibility has been in the gutter since then.

This is the guy (O'Donnell) who launched into a tirade against John O'Neill (Swift Boat Vets) on MSNBC during the election campaign, calling O'Neill a creep and a liar. Read about it at Michelle Malkin's website. His bio is at the MSNBC website.
To: Amanda75
I doubt it was Rove too. He'd have to be off his rails to be hob-knobbing with the likes of O'Donnell. I don't think Rove gives any liberal the time of day.
