To be honest with you, no one's going to be surprised if he was the source of the leak. Even more importanly, nobody cares.
Even if this is true, oh well, too bad. W is in office for another term. Let Karl take one for the team. Resign and retire and enjoy life. And, BTW Karl, thanks for giving us 8 years of George W. Bush and keeping the Dims out of the White House.

To be honest with you, no one's going to be surprised if he was the source of the leak. I would be. Although Robert Novak has not revealed exactly who the leaker was, I do remember him saying that his source did not come from the White House.

If this was true (and I don't think it is - whether you like Rove or not, he's not stupid) - but if it was true, a simple resignation wouldn't occur - he'd do some serious jail time (and rightly so).
