Can ID scientists improve upon Newton's physics? Can they improve upon Einstein's?

What difference does ID mean to the way we use the scientific method?

Why do ID scientists write articles that start by complaining about their treatment by non ID scientists and then go on to talk mumbo jumbo?

An Open Letter to James Randi:

Note: This letter only pertains to his ‘One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge’ and does not directly apply to the aforementioned letter…

Dear Mr. Randi (as sent to randi@randi.org)

I am willing to take your ‘One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge’ although you should know that I am not interested in your money and I have no paranormal abilities beyond the fact that I am conscious. I am willing to allow you to photograph my “conscious state” and demonstrate the fact that I am conscious by letting you ask a series of questions.

Now, you might wonder how my ‘amazing’ conscious ability applies to your challenge. It’s really quite simple as stated with this simple claim:

CONSCIOUSNESS CANNOT ULTIMATELY COME FROM MINDLESSNESS

If one eliminates all ultimate; reason, purpose, consciousness, and intelligence from my ability to think rationally as a conscious man – My consciousness merely becomes a result (or subset) of mindlessness. Frankly, I am curious how you will either prove I have faked this ‘conscious ability’ or show to all that – Consciousness does, in fact, ultimately come from mindlessness.

So here is the bottom line – if my “amazing” conscious (and human conscience) ability does not come ultimately from mindlessness – where does this ability come from?

-Sincerely …

(Waiting for a response)

Thanks for posting this. The movie is one of the most fascinating scientific works I'v ever seen. Hubby and I watched it two nights in a row. I had read a great article
in American Spectator about Intelligent Design (several times, in fact) and HAD to see this movie. Wonderful,
powerful, moving, convincing and not once did it mention God. Should be shown to all high schoolers, IYAM.
