I was a caller on the greatman's radio show four times and Maha Rushie could not have been nicer to me.
Yeah.... I think he's a great man and the Bush administration deserves some support. The President can't be blamed for the stupid compromise Sen. McCain did on the filibuster stuff.

Thank you, Chris!
Rush made me aware that, besides my Dad and myself, there were millions of Americans who believed, and believed in, the same things.
I cannot estimate how many times I was driving while listening and saying, "YEAH!!!"
Rush came along a decade or more ahead of Free Republic.
Listening to El Rushbo was rehersal for posting intelligently on these boards.

"Rush Limbaugh follows in the footsteps of giants, such as George Washington, Thomas Paine, and Ronald Reagan, promoting the ideals of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
For all of those who like to disparage Rush Limbaugh, just think for one moment about what the past 16+ years would have been like, without his voice, his courage, tenacity, and reliably principled arguments for our conservative side.
Thanks, Chris. Great post!
