Truthfully, my memory said that old bear pic was of similar green tones and values as the beautiful forest photo you'd posted, and it turned out that my memory's good!

Even as mommy, I do have to be honest, to claim she is not a pretty child would be false modesty. We just try to minimize other people fawning over her about it. Unfortunately all that beautiful blonde hair is now history.....fortunately it will grow back.

It started out as a summer cut - a just above the shoulder bob..............long story short, we had a serious problem with lice and the doctor told me to cut it, and mine also - and he told me the bob was not short enough.........

Shorter than a bob? yes - it is almost a crewcut, as is mine. She loved the bob - but is living with the "butch" (as the doctor calls it) because she got her ears pierced sooner, rather than later.
